Unintended Consequences In Photography

As some of you know, I like to shoot for the story. It can be called documentary style photography. Photographing what is there, in the environment we find it, while trying to tell the whole story in a single image. Sometimes there is a bigger story than what even the camera and artist can capture.
While shooting a practice session for a local Charleston band, I also shoot the others that happen to be there. Below is a shot of Kevin. We call him Skippy. Skippy has a recording studio. Skippy has played and recorded music for decades. Skippy has also smoked for decades.
After seeing the photos, Skippy noticed that he was smoking in the majority of them. He quit. As of this posting, Skippy has been free for 5 months.
Sometimes there is a bigger story than what the camera and artist can capture. But on the very rare occasions, it does.
