A photo shoot for a magazine led me to the most extraordinary family: the home of John and Mary Caroline Rhea. It is also where Charleston Original Sauces was formed. Both John and Mary Caroline were very hospitable and of the eight kids that I spoke with, all were polite, excited, and involved with the family business. As you can see from the photos, it is a family affair. And perhaps most importantly, the product is awesome! I am a hot sauce fan and now use their’s almost exclusively. Any of their products would make a spectacular holiday gift.
