Photographing a music event can be great fun, but it can be very challenging as well. The venue will be set up to maximize the music and not for you to get great photos. The lighting will be designed to enhance the experience of the guests and not to keep your shutter speed fast and ISO low. However, with all that said, it still can be an exciting and enjoyable project. We have to keep in mind that we are there to document and tell a story the best we can.
