Architectural Photography: Shooting for the Angle

During a trip to the wife’s homeland, (Rocky Mount, NC) for the Christmas holiday, it seemed only fitting to do a walk-about downtown and do something a little different this year. After making my traditional stop at the antiques store for a browse and quick purchase of a 1936 bound set of Reader’s Digest, I set about finding a new way to look at things. I decided to try to find angles, shapes, and frames for the things that I would shoot that afternoon. Here is what developed.
